This 5 day course, which can be provided as a block or as a day release over 5 consecutive weeks is designed for site managers, agents and persons who are, or are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and workforce.

The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.

A two day refresher course is also available.

Introduction

This two day course is intended for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. It provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will highlight the requirement to promote health and safety to supervise effectively. This course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.

The three day course is designed for First Aiders in the Workplace and is an HSE Approved Course.

This course meets the requirements of the First Aid at Work (1981) regulations.

The course will teach candidates the skills needed to deal with a patient who is not breathing, unconscious, injured or ill until the Emergency Services arrive.

The course also includes what to do after an accident or incident at work, reporting procedures, disposal of clinical waste and ensuring that your first aid kit complies with the standards set by the HSE.

A 2 Day Refresher Course and 1 Day Emergency First Aid Course is also available.
